Each year, our church’s Christmas choir concert is well attended and draws visitors from the community. It provides an opportunity for us to invite friends, both fellow believers and non-Christians.
Last year, we were joined by two couples that didn’t know each other. One of the men is a believer with a background in theology. The other is not a believer in Jesus, but is open to conversations about Christianity. We introduced these two men, and (unknown to us) the two men turned out to have very similar backgrounds and life experiences. This opened up a great opportunity for friendship and further conversation between a believer and someone who is open to considering a relationship with Jesus.
These are the “God moments” that happen as our church commits to bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ before people in our city, as it has faithfully done throughout its history.
